Brochures make a great marketing tool, and a professional way to introduce your business.

Folding Methods

8.5x11

• Half Fold or Single Fold – made by folding a printed page in half. After folding, the brochure consists of four panels, two on the front and two on the back.
• Tri-Fold or Letterfold - Made by folding the paper into thirds, the brochure consists of 6 panels, three on the front and three on the back.

8.5x14

• Half Fold or Single Fold – made by folding a printed page in half. After folding, the brochure consists of four panels, two on the front and two on the back.

• Tri-Fold or Letterfold - Made by folding the paper into thirds, the brochure consists of 6 panels, three on the front and three on the back.
• Double Parallel - constructed by folding an 8.5” x 14” sheet of paper in half, and then in half once again.

11x17

• Half Fold or Single Fold – Made by folding a printed page in half. After folding, the brochure consists of four panels, two on the front and two on the back.
• Tri-Fold - Made by folding the paper into thirds, the brochure consists of 6 panels, three on the front and three on the back.
• Half Fold with Right Angle 1/2 fold - Also known as a "French Fold" or "Right angle half fold", which means folding a sheets of paper in half once horizontally, then folding it in half again vertically, creating a 90-degree angle between the folds; essentially making four equal sections on a single sheet of paper.
• Half Fold with Right Angle 1/3 Fold - A folding technique where you first fold a sheet of paper in half (Standard half fold), then fold it again in the opposite direction, creating a right angle, and finally fold one of the long sides into thirds, resulting in a piece with multiple  panels that can be opened like a brochure; essentially, it's a combination of  a half fold and a "letter fold" with an added right angle bend.

• 8-Page Signature - To create an 8-page signature, the sheet is typically folded in half once lengthwise, then folded in half again widthwise, resulting in 4 pages on each side of the folded sheet.
